Course Description:This module is basically hospitality industry focused, to help Hotel Staff to confidently speak/interact with Guests & Co-workers in the English Language. The premise is that participants work in different service areas, each requiring a set of content/meaning words to manage response, make statements and create questions to find out both requirements and preferences of guests. In addition the goal is to skillfully listen & pronounce the words in a tone that reflects both politeness & courtesy expected from Associates/Executives employed in this domain.

 

The course includes communication skills training for:

 

  • Working as a waiter
  • Housekeeping
  • Working as a Bellboy/Hotel Porter
  • Working as a Receptionist
  • Working as a Bartender
  • Working as the supervisor of a Restaurant/Hotel
  • Working as a Flight Attendant/Steward
  • Working as a Tour Guide

Course outline

Basic English program for Hospitality Module addresses the job profile vocabulary quotient for speaking practice with grammar lesson plans, audio scripts and special active verb lists that express right meaning because they are in the right tense. In addition language focus & polish is achieved with intense practice for listening and pronunciation. The art of simple communication techniques is woven into the Course Module, so that the English fluency required for completing a communication or conversation pathway, is professional and satisfactory, both to participant and employer.
